Emergency Response Program
Hayat Foundation is responding Emergencies in Pakistan since 2005 through its emergency response program. The key expertises in the emergency response program are as under:
- Facilitate IDPs in registration process; provide Education, WES & child protection services to the vulnerable children & women as well as their families in consequences of emergencies. Establish child friendly centers in the camps.
- Link survivors of emergencies with the different services like facilitate in getting CNIC, support in registering children with NADRA and getting birth registration certificates, support in getting health services, extend legal assistance to individuals seeking legal support.
- Distribute food and non food items
- Monitoring of the return process of Camps population conducting Pre and Post interviews.
- Ensuring the IDPs rights during return process
- Reporting of identified Protection issues to relevant agency to protect IDPs rights.
- Conduct Child Protection and WES Need Assessments.
- Contribute in rehabilitation services through community development initiatives with a focus on women empowerments
